This year Embodiment Project celebrates our 5th Get Free Festival  in partnership with Dance Mission Theater, Destiny Arts Center, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and Yerba Buena Gardens Festival in the SF Bay Area. Join us for a FREE weeklong street dance festival offering 22 technique classes covering house dance and various styles, multidisciplinary performances with live musicians and poets, experimental battles, and a day party celebrating Black social dance and house music culture. Featuring dance workshops taught by Toyin Sogunro, K’niin Abbrey, Rama Mahesh Hall, Nicole Klaymoon, Nakachi Clark-Kasimu, and more. Participants have the chance to showcase new works at the end of the week. Our Get Free Festival includes live performances by Embodiment Project, Coflo Ferreira, Valerie Troutt, Tiffany Austin, and more
