Join Embodiment Project and Dance Mission Theater for a special evening of performance and celebration in support of Embodiment Project’s work!

Belly of the Whale: The Fourth Stomach Chamber, an original work of dance theater directed by Nicole Klaymoon, with musical direction by Amikaeyla Gaston, returns by popular demand. Set as a live podcast, this provocative hip-hop theater remix of the ancient biblical story of Jonah and the Whale brings together virtuosic street and house dance, spoken word, live music, comedy, butoh, and documentary theater to explore accountability, belonging, transformation, and what it means to practice “Revolutionary Love” in a polarized world.

The February 6 Benefit Celebration pairs this immersive performance with a special evening to gather, celebrate, and support the artists and work of Embodiment Project. Be part of a night that invites us to laugh, move, reflect, and imagine what becomes possible when we choose connection with one another.
