This class expands students’ capacity for theatrical emotionality and expressive range through dynamic choreography. Klaymoon’s 17+ years of study, training, and teaching in house dance inform a hybrid choreographic language that integrates groove, rhythm, floorwork, and articulate footwork. Students are guided through practices of subtle body awareness and a distinct sense of embodiment using inventive scores and improvisational concepts. The class seeks to invigorate the indestructible creative flame within each participant, inviting unfettered play, stretching dancers of all levels in performance quality, and fostering liberation through the body in a loving community.
